The Humantay Lagoon, located at the foot of the snowy mountain of the same name
is a spectacular body of water fed by the melting glacier, known for its intense turquoise color and the natural beauty that surrounds it, creating a natural mirror image. This experience is truly unmissable and is recommended at least once in a lifetime.
Ideal for hikers, this adventure is perfect for families, couples, friends or solo travelers in search of new emotions and explorations.
The tour starts early in the morning at 03:30 am in which the transport passes by our hotel to take us first to the sector of Mollepata place where we can enjoy a delicious breakfast, however we must take into account not to eat too much to enjoy the road with tranquility. The transport then takes us to the sector of Soraypampa, here our transport leaves us and begins our adventure of walking for a period of 1 hour and 30 minutes uphill enjoying the snowy, the unique climate and a marked road, finally we arrive at our destination, the humantay lagoon where we will have free time to enjoy it on our own and take the best photos. At the end we will return by the same road to get back to Soraypampa sector where transport awaits us to finally return to the town of Mollepata where we can have lunch comfortably. Our return trip ends in Cusco at 17:30 pm in the San Francisco square.
HUMANTAY LAGOON 01 DAY
- 03:30 – 04:00 The tour starts with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco.
- 04:00 – 07:00 We start the trip from Cusco to the town of Mollepata.
- We have free time to have breakfast.
- 08:30 – 11:00 We continue to the town of Soraypampa and start our hike to the Humantay Lagoon.
- Arriving at the top we will have free time to enjoy the scenery and take pictures of the beautiful turquoise lagoon and the imposing snow-capped mountains.
- 12:00 – 13:00 We start with the return to the town of Soraypampa and then board our transport to return to Mollepata.
- We have free time for lunch.
- 14:30 – 17:30 At the end of our journey back to the city of Cusco.
Our experience ends at Regocijo square.
